Yum, I made sweet potatoes yesterday even though in the recipe said for 45min but it was for longer. The sweet potatoes were bigger than they were in the picture.

See, at school, we also do cooking/ independent living skills on the dorm.

I also got sick. My voice sounds bad right now, but I feel much better than a few days ago.

Well, I just arrived by airship and went with Ember with her Nanopet, rat, Rattus, took me to go see some stylist. She wants me to look nice for goint to the "Scientist and Inventors United" convention ( your suppost to look very nice, as you dress up.) The stylist scrub me, rinse me off, clip my nails and paint them blood red. Also my eyebrows are waxed. They straighten my hair and braid it in a singal braid. I like my hair straightened and braided, I asked for it. I am then put in sparkeling blue dress. It makes me think of a fish and of the ocean. I LOVE the ocean. if it was me, the next time i go to one of Ember's party's I'm going to go for a fish look. I'm very excited to get to go to the convention. I Would LOVE a Nanopet. I'll ask Ember to make me one.

Well, today is a very, very important day for me as well as other scientist and inventers. Ally and Kendra are coming to. I'm going to be showing my new invention which is clothing that monitors your health. We need cloths that can monitor your health. We need to be healthier. It's important.

I'm tired, ok, my feet are tired and then we are going to go beatufy myself. Make myself pretty. I AM NOT a girly girl. I'm hoping that I could get hunger games flames on my fingernails.

And I would want to dye my hair, but ma says no.

School!

Today has been wonderful. Only, I had to talk to the principal about meeting someone important by the name of Kristi. Everyone else approved her meeting with me on Monday for an hour. It kinda sucks, but we can still email etc. So, that's good.

Kristy is this epicaly wonderful person that has been taking her personal time to help me with writing. She says how I have a talent for it. She has been helping me with grammar ect.

School has been great. I love school here. I've bern helping with robotics, witch is a club for middle schoolers. I've learned some things and I really like it. I'm also doing some writing for the teacher.

I LOVE SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND!! everyone is awesome too.


Ok all of my teacher's awesome. My english teacher is really cool and also teaching us creative writing as well ( it's not boring formal writing. It's fun too). also we can do this project where we all make a story and do a full cast audio book with sounds and we all act out voices. I listened to one story with my new friend, Matty, who was in it. It was called " The Underground terror" it was soo good i LOVED the audiobook production. It would be wonderful if my books could be made into a full cast audio book. I sent him my book, he ( Mr Persian) can't wait to read it :D


I also ( in school) work in a coffee shop and yes, we make coffee a run the shop. We earn tip too. I've done really VERY well. Now, I can easily make any kind of coffee ( i'm still learning) and I also experiment with my own flavors too such as vanilla and amereto etc. I'm so ambitious. I'm wiping down the counters, clearing the porta filter ect on my own, no one is telling me. It's strange


I also work with Mark with Embordary. I LOVE COFFE SHOP AND EMBORDARY CLASS!!! MARK IS AWSOME!! he likes to me a lot and calls me " A little bit of awesome!!" and calls me " Mrs. Scientist!!" He LOVES science/science fiction / like I do. He LOVES GODZILLA/SCI FIC B MOVIE. He has GODZILLA TOYS in his office. OK, He even has an Albert Einstine ACTION FIGURE!!!! ( i took a picture of it) THAT's Awsome!!

So he and I have been emailing/ talking serious science! He's soo cool.

Mark is coming up with a cool nickname for me, Somthing sciency. My nickname is " Doc" as in " Doctor"

I sometimes call him godzilla, he loves that. Lol

I did some emborday and their is this machine that does it . ( This reminds of an ' intelligent sewing machine that will appear in book three.)

I also have a class about money and the economy and gov. It's ok

Here we also work with o and m. My teacher is ok. After findiing out about how much i like to learn/science we will take a trip during school to a museam at UT :D next Wednday.

Everyone here is SO cool and nice. We all help eachother ect. We also get assigned chores/ do our laundary ect. We also get awards for keeping our rooms clean. Me and Matty won a starbucks gift card. Sense we all had genarly clean rooms than we earn pizza next Monday!

The staff member's are ASWOME plus we are encouraged to use our tech so we bring out ipad ( of the tech department gives them out) We also have class's after school and go places. Plus we teenagers have free range on campus as long as we sign out of our dorm and the r.I. ( residential instructor ) knows where we are. We also practice home living ect.


We also do stuff after school as well. Yesterday we went to the movies and we saw Amazing Spider man. The movie was very good. I liked the mutated lizard.


And my theird peroid teacher is Mrs. Sykes. She's cool and crazy


I'm also metting with this women at the school named Kirsty Sprinkle about my story work. She emailed my english teacher and praised it highly. She let him know what i was good at for the writing assessment. Apperantaly, Kristy is not suppost to interact with the students but she is doing special attention to me.


I can't wait, she offers to " work" with me on it. I've let a few people read it and they say that it is exciting and interesting. One of the r.i. s even think that " Ember is a bit sexy" lol!!

I've made meany friends here too. My roomate is Staza and she is super nice and cool. Unfortunately, 85% of her is burned. She looks kinda scary but she is AWSOME!!! She even goes out of her way to help/ sit by me at lunch when i have no one to sit by. Matty is very cool and LOVES. Science and sci fic like me. She is short and is slightly autistic ( she kinda believes that she is a robot due to her condition. She is writing a story about a robot ( i want to read it, i said that she needs to think more on it as in characters/plot ect. She has written chapter one.) I have a friend named Emily who is cool too and has painted my nails/ straightened my hair. She and I are going to watch " The Big bang theory" can't wait. Everyone here is cool.

I've seen kids with meany disabaltys here. There are a few kids that are lower, mentaly and a few kids who are deaf or in wheelchairs. On the bus on the way home their was this kid that had his fingers in his ears that occasionally shrieked. Their was a little boy that was burnt VERY BADALY, as in he did not have a hand and half a arm. His teeth look strange. I FEEL SOOOOO BAD FOR HIM POOR LITTLE GUY!!! :/

Staza has her hands and fingers messed up. She also sometime need help with things due to her hands and i help her. She told me about the car accident three years ago and she occasionally takes morphing for the pain. She also has tought me a thing about makeup ( i'm not a girly girl AT ALL ) she also uses the makeup for her scars and she always smells like lotion ( she smells pretty) And she sleeps with fans because she can't sweat due to the scars.

She is a strong spirited, wonderful, kind, smart, cool person. I was never frightened by her looks considering that i've never seen anyone as scared as her.

Also we do work differently as in we use a lot of tech ( LOT'S of ipad 3 ( i use my own) and brail notebook ( Apex, as it's called) and laptops. These kids sure know a lot about tech. Even i have learned some stuff. And everyone here understand our eyes ect and don't inundate us with hw.

A wormhole is way of getting from point A to point B through time and space and if you were to go through one you would be squished to how meany atoms small/your body rips apart.

school for the blind is EPIC!!! I also have a job at the wildcat ( the school's mascot) coffee shop and I just tough two kids how to make an latte and this epicaly good hot coco. Keep in mind that i have no experience at this nor Embordary. My Embordary teacher is awesome! And we are going to make things for companies as well as ourselves. We get payed for both jobs and we will be ordering, and working on the machine ( it's touch screen and you enter in the design and the machine does the work) We will be coming up with ideas and will doing most of the work by ourselves. And i never picked these classes. Well will earn money too. And we are all blind or visually impaired.

My teachers are super cool. I love my english teacher,he encourages creative writing instead of writing just formal stuff.

I'm excited

I can't believe that tomorrow ,early in the morning that I am leaving for Austin. I've been to the school for the blind for summer camp, but never for the school year. Everyone their is very cool and nice. I love going their, plus i'll make more friends than at Kingwood high school.

We will be living in dorms and will come home on the weekends. Recently, they re did the whole campus. I've seen a picture of the school and it looks very nice.

They have a gym, an indoor pool, track and field ect. Their is also a rec that has video games, air hockey ect. So awesome. I will take pictures of the doors ect and show you all

Hey, sorry i haven't bloged in a while. Well, i went to the eye doctor two days ago and i ned bi focials. Also I can't wait til Saturday because the Hunger games comes out. I can't wait, not only that but i pre ordered it on my ipad. I wish that It was Saturday today.

an idea

so, you like my general idea? I do caz' I though of it.



You know, i've never have though of writing a book about someone who is visualy impaired and wishes to live a normal life. I've have an idea in my head about doing other sci fic stories that possibly has a character that has vision like me. I've always have had in my head the idea of a story about this girl and her dog. The story takes place on Mars ( or possibly another planet) Already humans are terraforming ( making it Earth like, for life but their is already some life on this planet) Human's have recently moved here because we have polluted our home so much. So my character is wondering around the dessert like landscape with her genetically enhanced dog (she can speak) and she is short and lengthy and is a cotton candy pink color. This teenage girl wondered away from her home base in search of adventure. She has no parents and is tired of being told what to do by everyone. She is wondering about the alien creatures that live here and is wanting to be peaceful with them because it's the right thing to do. Plus the aliens don't like humans because they have tried to change their way of life/learn more about them/ changing their home planet. The alien spices are looked as less than human, in realty they are just different. So something happens to this girl and she loses her vision ( or has half her vision like me and more) she learns to adapt to her lose in eyesight. However, she wishes that she has perfect vision agin. her dog becomes her guide dog and some aliens help her because she is nonthreating and is kind unlike all the other humans that they have seen. Just a thought. I like it.

Mistmantle

ok, so I'm gonna prove it about why I think that Mistmantle should not be read by 8 to 12 year olds ( that's the age appropriate age for reading the books they clame) The some of the things that make it a book for older kids is....  ( I don;t want to spoil it for y'all)


Their is this evil squirrel, Husk, that wants Mistmantle for his own so he and his wife can rule so....

He murders the prince ( which is barley even a baby at the time) the queen dies of grief. He  keeps the king drunk so that the king has no idea as to what is going on. Husk enforces a rule to kill any baby animal that is deformed ect. See what I mean. Also their is some phyicaly messed up villens ect. But the books are very good, trust me. If you love animals that you will love Mistmantle. And the autor that created Mistmantle is M.I. McAlister ( go Margaret) she's soo cool, nice, epic. She also loves my sci fic stories as well. A very cool and wounderful person. Yes, I email her and she lives in the uk.

See, that's just crap that her books are down graded. You migh as well question The Hunger Games becuse thoese books are defintaly for teens and are very vilont, yet their are some kids in elamentary school that are readng them. Take that book people!!!

Some strange things at the library

Hey, So i was at the library two days ago and am gonna go agin today after the doctor. I played Portal 2 ( unfountaly, it was in the beginning because i got a few levels past. However, I did not compleat everything in the beginning.) I love going to the library often and look at books and play video games ( mainly Portal 2)

Don't you find it funny how their are books in the kid section ( yes, i do go to the kid section just because the books are easer to understand v.s. the adult ones as far as science and tech goes) So, it's funny how they have books their that 1. Are not kids books such as Redwall because of the content, it's more for teens. In fact, I hate it how people downgrade Mistmantle because it has animals in it. They make it seem like a little kids book. In reality i think it is more for older kids/teens because of the content. Not as much as Redwall, but close.

2 . Just should not be their such as certain medical stuff that you would find upstairs with the adult/teenager books. They even had a few super thin book on "getting smart about your privets" WTH. SERIOUSLY! Wow! I don't have a problem with it. I just find it funny because it's typically something that you do not talk to kids about. It's like "Mommy, daddy what is this book?"
But seriously, they do have very good books their.

Green chili soup and more

Hello, It's Ember and i was wounding if you like green chili soup, or have had it? I love green chili soup, my mother, Sapphire, raised me of this stuff. It's very spicy yet good. Samantha said that she has had green chili soup before. She says that green chili is very good on hamburgers and it's very common in new Mexico.

I used to live their with Sapphire and my father John. I love my mother yet hated my father. John hated the fact that i loved science. When I was little he even tried to sell of all of my books on scientific subject. He wanted me to do something else with my life. He though that all of this about science was unrealistic for me. He clammed that their was no such thing as science and that it was up to god... However I spend a lot of time with my mother. I love her.

I'm home

Omg i'm so happy to be home you have no idea. So now i mail off some stuff that I got from Canada to one of my friends. And i can go to the library and play more Portal and tell my grandma/ one of my friends about our epic trip. All in all i had tons of fun.

It felt SO good to sleep in my own bed with A.C. Goodness, and it's lunch time now when i got up.

Hello people

So, I'm still in Connecticut and i've been having fun. Have been eating lots of seafood ( i had two blue crabs yesterday :D) sooo good. Yesterday i went fishing and shopping in Mystic downtown witch is very nice and pretty. And it's right by the water. Lately, it has been cloudy/raining. Today it was only a bit cloudy and we went fishing on the boat. We cough meany fish that are going to be smoked. And i got all wet as well as got fish puke on my leg. I didn't mind. Just wanting to give you all a heads up.


On Friday we are heading home. It will be a two day drive. I miss home.

gloomy day...

Today and yesterday was a gloomy rainy day. I like rainy days better than sunshine. I've been chilxing and have been watching the Olympics too. So cool even though i am not a sport person. The swimming and waterpolo was cool. And i heard from my friend,Raven that a blind person won first place in archery :D that is sooo cool. I admire people like that because I can't see myself ( my left eye is blind and i can only see a few feet with my right eye.I've had meany surgeries on them ) When i wake up on an overcast day i'm like "Yep, today is one of those crapy days" I've been writing too and i've completed book 1 ,as in got done with editing and re writing etc. So happy. Now i continue with book 2 stuff.

We are going to eat lobster ( yum, i love seafood) and when we get back in town I have doctor's appointments/eye doctor. Not thrilled about it at all.I don't like doctors even though i find all medical/science stuff interesting.

Here lobsters are cheep compared to back home in Texas. We are literally on the water, right on a harbor.

Well, this is my first time bloging. Samantha let me use her Ipad ( which is a very old piece of technology) They don't even have holograps that can come out of them and interact with you like the Tablet can.

Anyway, i've recently gone up to Canada for a science convention with the worlds top scientist and engineers. I'm going to be displaying my nano tech contact lens as well as the newest version of Nanopets ( for those of you that don't know, Nanopets are cyborg animals that look realistic. You can't tell that they are mechanical They are very loyal like my albino rat, Rattus, my own Nanopet.)


I am part of this organization that is called Scientist and Inventors United. It is made up of the worlds top scientist and engineers. And i'm leaving on an airship in an hour. So when I arrive in Canada, the police are very strict because of the threat of war. Stupid, Acka, when will they ever learn about world piece and get along with the world. We ( as in all of us that are going to the convention) are granted special access to go into Canada because we have our States card and we will all get our finger's pricked upon arrival too.

I'm very excited. And when I get back we are throwing a party for Samantha (our creator ) I got her a very special gift. We will soon be bringing our the blue dress, and their will be dancing and music and food. The best, just for her.

My last night in Canada

Ok, it's my last night. I've loved Canada soo awesome. In Quebec their have castles and such like Europe and we went to beautiful churches too.

I've also been eating amazing food such as rabbit,Bree,crepes ( lemon and sugar, Nutella) maple syrup, salmon ect. Yes, everything here is like a miniature Europe and you know what else is miniature... this bus that looks like someone compressed it/ miniaturized it . So, we we were all laughing at the smartbus ( that's what I call it) We also rode on a buggy pulled by a horse too. It was funny, one of the drives asked a groupe of people where they were from and he said " America, oh so great" it was so funny the way her said it. The horses were beautiful too. Their was also people performing/playing music on the streets too. The city is rich in history as well and is next to the St. Lawrence river.


The Biodome was more like terrarium. Their was rain forest, Europe, the ocean,rivers. Their was rock pools with urchins and starfish in them. Their were birds, otters, these phrestoric fish and penguins. I <3 penguins/otters. I <3 the biodome.

Next is Connecticut, the place where people will not notice a town full of robots. ( ma'ma got that from somewhere)

Ma'ma has also been doing a Russian accent. She's so funny

In Niagra we went on the Made of the Mist. The boat took us very close to the falls ( Horseshoe falls, Niagra falls) one is on the America side and the other is on the Canada side. We got all wet which was why we all got raincoats (which were basically clear, blue plastic bags) The falls were not as massive as TV makes them seem , but they were still colossal

Oh yeah and when we first went to our hotel the first thing that Brandon ask is " is this hotel hunted?" We had a discussion about gost earlier. On the elevator they also has an ss floor ,Nazi floor jk. It was the workout room.

Oh yeah

So yes, me and my ma and my brother have been having fun and have been acting like little children (yeah, we're teenagers except ma of course)

We're hilarious! Like when the people were singing at parliament, ma is like "What if we were to sing next to them loudly the American national anthem GOD BLESS AMERICA..." Yeah, we're little children. Haha!

See, we're funny and crazy jk.


Their was so meany crazy funny moments, it's insane. I swear, ma acts like a teenager at times. Don't you just love mothers like that.

Where i am now

Well we went from Chicago to Ottawa and went to the Parliament ( their was people their singing the Canada national anthem, they sung it very badly. ) Before that we went to the art museum to see Van Gooh painting. It was very cool and beautiful. In Ottowa their is a shipping channel has locks so that it raise the water level to get boats though.

Now we are in Montreal.

The weather has been very nice compared to Houston. Now it's raining. In Canada it's like a miniature Europe. Lots of people walk/ ride bikes every wear. Their are old cobble stone streets that have shoppes and everything is in French/ English ( typically french first) Their is wonderful food here too and Crepes. ( mmmm, Nutella ). And meany of the building are old and their is a few pretty churches too.


Today is our last day in Montreal. Tomorrow we are heading to Quebec.Yeasterday, we went to this museum that had a city that was found by archaeologist under Montreal. In Montreal their history is not that different from America. Tomorrow we are going to the biodome. The biodome is really cool, it's sort of like a zoo. I love things like that, I love nature and animals. I'm extremely excited to go.. Also, today we got to see the the original bank. I've loved the trip thus far.

Omg today in the lobby their was this cute fluffy, brown puppy that was so adorable. He was funny, he did not want to go with his owner and was rolling over and just lay down. He was sweet. It reminds me when i was in Mexico for vacation and their was this sweet dog and looks healthy and all and was licking my leg. Dad told me to stop touching it. But it was so sweet.

My trip so far

Hey, sorry i havn't updated in a few days. So far i've had a lot of fun. When we were on the rode from Texas to Chicago we saw this license plate that said haha on the back. Ma also lay on the horn to get three big black turkey sized birds out of the way.


Chicago was very nice. We went to the museum of science and industry . I loved the museum, it was so cool (google it) and after that we went to the Willis tower which is the tallest tower in Chicago.

Now we are in Canada in Niagara falls ( Niagara falls is literally across the street from our hotel.) We are heading deeper in Canada later. So far it's very Americanized. We are going on a boat ride tomorrow close to the falls.

Tomorrow the adventure begins

Some of our friends have visited and tomorrow we leave the same time they do. They are going to San Antino for three days. They are also going to Seaworld ( I <3 Seaworld for the animals, i kinda wished that I was going) It's gonna be 24 hours in the car for us and 3 hours for them . Today i had fun and went to the pool. Here are some things that Canada are well known for...

Beavers

Maple syrup ( my ma and dad went to Canada for a trip years ago and brought back some crystallized maple syrup candy)

Instead of states like in the U.S. they got provinces

I hear that Canadians are nicer than Americas

Free heath care ( if only America had free health care)


They have a lot of French people and they are very strict on laws. For example, you can not carry any weapon on you for protection. And they take DUI very seriously.

They are famous for cites like Onrtario and Quebec ( i believe that we are going their. )

Yes my friends that like Portal showed me this. So I was at the library one day and decided to play Portal 2 and then i'm like " This is epic" sooo I love the game now

It appears in my aquatic story. And it is gigantic and causes a quake when it stirs. It lives in the deep part of the Atlantic ocean.

And the scary thing is, no one in the underwater research base knows what it it. Dives just call it " the sea ( or aqutic) dragon "

And it has bioluminesses ( its this chemical that some animals have and it glows. ) spots running along its body

This is a Sing-A-La bird. In the story the are small iridescent song birds that can sing ultrasonically or to the point where you can still hear but the sound will damage your hearing. They are called Sing-A-La birds because their warble sounds like they are saying Sing-A-La

So, i'm sure you were wondering...

Why am I talking about writing,you may ask?

I am...

1 writing a futuristic science fiction story. It is going to be trilogy ( quite possibly) I'm done with book 1 ( i'm almost done re- writing/ editing things. After that than I will re-read to make sure i have everything how I want it.) I'm on book 2 ( currently on ch 10 because i won't continue until after i'm done going through book one) I already have planes for book three.

And when i'm done I am wanting to write an story having to do with the ocean, its still in the same world ( yes, i adore the ocean)

The story takes place hundred of years in the future, in D.C. My world is largely a utopia ( certain things such as hover cars/cars that drive themselves/air ships we made to be more energy efficient and they run off of solar power) Everyone ( except for the country, Acka, which is like Russia) is all peace with the world with the environment. (yes, y'all I care a lot about the environment and Earth. Its a shame that most people aren't kinder to it.)Their is also a lot of females too compared to males. Also a long time ago their was a lot of pollution, to the point where animals and plants mutated/hybridized/died off. I'm not
telling y'all much/more because i don't want to spoil it.

Btw my story revolves around a brilliant young scientist and two high school girls.

We are taking a road trip (me,ma,Brandon, and Vivi) are going to take a rode trip across America and go to Chicago,Canada,Connecticut, Arkansas ( in that order. ) We will be away for three weeks. I'm soo excited! :D iv'e been to meany places but iv'e never been to Canada or Chicago.... So, let me guess, in Canada their is moose, maple syrup,maple leaf, ice hockey... I'm Canadian, eh! Jk ( i'm not that niieve ) It's suppose to be in the 80s up north)

Just think, driving through all of the forest and mountains and such. So cool. Nature is awesome as well as beautiful.

You know, its kinda annoying how it seems like NO ONE has an imagination. Its so easy, i have a great imagination. Its amazing how meany teens/adults don't have one. Even my ma does not understand my sci fic story ( i may post a few chapters) she says how " She does not understand all of this fantasy stuff ( technically, its sci fic).
